Tattoo Planning For Clients In Cypress Hills
If you are coming from Cypress Hills, you can start the tattoo process before choosing an appointment date. Send the idea, approximate size, placement, and a few useful references. At RIDGEWOOD TATTOO, we use that information to understand what you are trying to achieve and whether the concept needs changes to work well on skin.
We offer black and grey tattooing, fineline tattoos, sleeve work, color tattoos, portraits, and piercing. Some appointments are simple and contained. Others need several conversations and multiple sessions. We match the amount of planning to the project rather than making every client go through the same process.

Why Cypress Hills Chooses RIDGEWOOD TATTOO
We help narrow broad ideas
If you like several references for different reasons, tell us what stands out in each one. That makes it easier to find a coherent direction.
Placement and scale are connected
The same design may need different proportions depending on where it sits. We adjust the composition around the available space.
We protect the main subject
Backgrounds, lettering, and extra elements should support the central idea. We avoid adding detail simply to fill empty space.
Existing tattoos are considered
When working near older tattoos, we look at their darkness, scale, style, and position before planning the new piece.
Large work is organized before it grows
For sleeves and other substantial projects, early planning helps avoid awkward gaps and gives future sessions a clearer direction.
We keep communication practical
You should leave the planning stage knowing what is being tattooed, where it is going, and why the chosen approach makes sense.
